Holidays in the Southland, Photo #5

The Huntington Beach Pier

Large blue snowflakes lined either side of the Pier, all the way to the Ruby's at the tip. Each had a small placard besdie it stating who donated it to add to the city's holiday spirit. Very nice to look at, but the chilly wind kept many people away. A few lone fisherman cast their lines and occasionally laughed as I snapped a few pictures.

I just watched a show on the whole boat parade deal at Newport. Really interesting...and looks like a ton of fun. But weird for me....with no snow or cool temperatures.

Your post reminds me of Pier 7 here in SF. Gotta grab my camera and head down there for some shots. What inspiration you give me! :)

Lewis: the boat parade is a lot of fun, and very cold with the wind blowing in from the Pacific.

Matt: yes! I want to see some shots of San Francisco at Christmas time!!!

Sham: thanks! I'm very amateur when it comes to photographs. I tired using my night filter, but the picture blurred like an acid trip.

Jess: you mean, there really is such a thng as snow?!
